The project
A private residence in Cemagi, in the Badung regency on Bali’s south-west coast. The architecture is by DnA Associates. The project is in the construction phase.
ICM’s role
Indonesia Core Management acts on the owner’s side as development manager: coordination between owner, architect and contractor, control of the construction programme and budget, and documentation of progress.
Scope of work
- Coordination of design decisions between the owner and the architect.
- Contractor coordination and site progress control.
- Budget monitoring and review of progress claims.
- Permit coordination in line with the approved drawings.
- Progress documentation on video for the owner and, with permission, for this site.
Approach
The owner does not need to be on site for decisions to be taken correctly. Every design change is checked against budget and permits before it is built, and progress is documented so it can be verified remotely.
